ardor—studio is a small studio that draws from a diverse network and broad expertise and works on public, private, and commercial spaces. These spaces are designed in connection with their specific architectural and historical context and aligned with the personal interests of their users. The goal is to create highly functional and sensitive design that lasts over time.

In 2024, Michiel Hilbrink founded ardor—studio to specialize in interior design. With a decade of experience as a professional artist, he transitioned into architecture and interior design seven years ago. Over the past seven years, Hilbrink worked on projects for clients such as Rijkswaterstaat, The Social Hub, 10DAYS, Levi's, BAM, Kondor Wessels, and Zadelhoff, among others.

Hilbrink holds a BA in Graphic Design and Communication and a BFA from the Rietveld Academy. He was also a resident at the Jan van Eyck Academy.

ardor—studio werkt met een divers netwerk met brede expertise aan publieke, private en commerciële ruimtes. Deze ruimtes worden ontworpen vanuit architecturale en historische context en in nauwe verbinding met de persoonlijke interesses van de gebruikers. Het doel is om uitzonderlijke functionele én zintuigelijke ontwerpen te maken die lang meegaan.

In 2024 is ardor—studio opgericht, een ontwerpstudio dat zich richt op interieur ontwerp. Het is opgezet door Michiel Hilbrink, die met tien jaar ervaring als professioneel kunstenaar, zeven jaar geleden overstapte naar architectuur- en interieurontwerp. Hij werkte aan projecten voor opdrachtgevers zoals Rijkswaterstaat, The Social Hub, 10DAYS, Levi's, BAM, Kondor Wessels en Zadelhoff.
