ardor—studio is an interior design agency that runs on the intrinsic zeal that stems from designing everyday life, such as home and work environments. With great enthusiasm for finding out what works best on a practical and deeper level, the studio delivers a product or service that lasts a long time.

Practically, it could be as simple as drawing a plan to better understand a space. But also for a renovation of a private home, a public or commercial space of any size, a professional kitchen, bar, hotel room, shop or else, ardor—studio is a good partner.

The studio works from concept to construction phase, that is, from beginning to the end.

ardor—studio is an initiative of Michiel Hilbrink, a former visual artist. With ardor—studio, he wants to bring the artistic and practical together.

For the last seven years, he was an interior architect and worked on major projects with clients like Rijkswaterstaat, The Social Hub, 10DAYS, Bam, Kondor Wessels to name a few.

He studied graphic design, completed a BA Communication and a BFA at the Rietveld Academy, and was resident at the Jan van Eyck Academy.
